Below is just a small selection of the wonderful artists' books made by my students in Print Media II at Sheridan/UTM in the Art & Art History program. In the final project of the term students apply different techniques learned throughout the course including screen printing, line etching, and letterpress into a book format of their choosing. While the subject of the book is up to the student, there is a teaching emphasis on linking form to content, and to explore the potential of taking print media into a three-dimensional and time-based format.
I have had the pleasure of teaching numerous courses and techniques to students in academic institutions throughout the years at Sheridan and OCADU. Below is a selection of work by these students in mediums including screen printing, woodcut reduction, intaglio etc.
