Take away is an open edition, there are currently eight different napkin stories that were all contributed anonymously by diner-goers via a google form, then type set using metal type and letterpress printed on standard restaurant napkins. The work was exhibited as part of a solo show titled "To Stay" at Open Studio's Member gallery in 2023. Viewers were encouraged to take a napkin from the dispenser to keep, in so doing they revealed another story behind the napkin taken. |
